Health is not just to avoid illness. Positively, health is the ability to grow to full mental, physical and emotional potential of our – and flourish. Being healthy is about feeling good and functioning well.
There are two main methods that could include elementary in strengthening our health:
1. Improving our eating habits
While many of us good health, it is also a concern. Our lifestyles have to improve and our communities need strengthening. Many people do not eat enough vegetables or fruit, or getting enough exercise. There are a growing number of people who are overweight, and eating disorders are also increasing.
2. To be mentally, emotionally and spiritually stable
Be healthy includes having the mind and spirit that feeds and resilient. Once community members experiencing depression, our anxiety or problems of drugs and alcohol. Mental-health problems affect a third of families and 40 seconds, someone in the world dies of suicide.
Most adults with educational health first experienced problems as a teenager. Young people with mental-health issues are also likely to have a low income, be in trouble with the law, being a parent, experiencing physical illness and poor educational outcomes. Tragically, suicide is one of the leading causes of death in young people.
Yet there is much reason for hope: conditions including anxiety and depression are treatable (though only a quarter of people affected seek help). Our understanding of mental illness is growing all the time. Suicide is preventable. And even better news; we can promote good mental health to prevent problems.
Our lifestyle and environment that we live in the greatest impact on our health. If we focus on welfare rather than just treating illness, we must take responsibility for their own health rather than expecting doctors to pick up the pieces of an unhealthy lifestyle. It also means helping to make our community a healthier place to live.
The causes of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer are mostly associated with the use of alcohol, smoking, being overweight, and not eating enough fruits and vegetables and physical inactivity.
Do not wait for a wake-up call. Our lifestyle is in our control, many of the diseases we experience are preventable. We need to build up the strength of our minds and bodies so we are more resilient, to reduce the possibility of problems occurring. When we are in touch with our health and we know our bodies and minds, well, we can catch problems early.
Healthier we are in body and mind, the happier we can be because, not only do we feel good, we are also able to do what well-being. Scientists have also confirmed that there is a connection between joy, health and life expectancy. Put simply, wholesomeness affect happiness and happiness effects.
